Our lab is seeking curious, motivated, and collaborative individuals who are passionate about children's cognitive development, with a specific focus on numerical cognition and mathematical learning. We welcome students both at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and from the broader academic community.
Our lab welcomes undergraduate students from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and beyond to join the team as volunteer Research Assistants. This role offers valuable, hands-on experience with the research process from understanding methodology to learning the logistics of running a study. We welcome motivated Master's students from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and beyond to join our lab as Research Assistants. In this role, students are fully immersed in our work, gaining valuable, hands-on experience across the entire research process—from project development to implementation. A commitment of at least 10 hours per week is expected. Students from Academy of Future Education often participate for course credits (i.e., via a Co-Curricular Activity - CCA), while others are welcome to join on a volunteer basis. While our lab occasionally has paid assistantships, priority for these positions is given to students who have been involved in the lab.
