About Our Lab

Welcome to the LINK Lab, a research group dedicated to understanding the crucial links between Learning, targeted Interventions, and the development of Numerical Knowledge in children.

Led by Dr. Jike Qin at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, our research examines the developmental trajectory of numerical cognition and the key factors that influence it. Using these foundational insights, we design and test effective strategies to promote robust mathematical learning, aiming to bridge the gap between cognitive science research and practical application in schools and at home.
